ALBADI
"Albadi" is an abbreviation of
Aleke Banza Dieto. It comes from the Kikongo,the language
spoken in the West of the DRC, in the Lower Congo province.
It means: children-ideas-our, that is Our Idea (or project)
for the Children, or in other words, Help Children. Albadi
is an initiative of Albert and Rose Diluambanzila, who are
the Home Parents. Albadi is an orphanage and school that has
existed since 2001. In addition to academic studies, the school
provides income generating opportunities for the orphans,
without which they would not have the means to support themselves
when they leave the orphanage.

Our Objectives
To recreate a framework where the human being is valued by acknowledging
the dignity, the freedom, opportunities and the greatness of the
children themselves.
To offer a family environment for the care and education of children
and teen-agers.
To care for children born to parents victims of
sexually transmitted diseases (HIV/AIDS).
To offer vocational training.
To try and solve educational problems with applied and innovative
pedagogy.
